Port Facilities in Kiel
The Port of Kiel, with its distinctive port districts along the fjord and on quays of more than 5,000 meters in length, offers just the right facilities for ocean-going and inland ships of almost every size.
Adequate storage and handling areas are available for cargo of every description in all the port's distiricts and terminals. The terminals close to the city centre are for passengers, while the terminal Ostuferhafen is mainly for freight traffic.
